ATV Trails Around Bear Lake & Logan Canyon

One of the reasons we love Bear Lake so much? The fun doesn't end when you leave the water. This area is packed with incredible ATV and side-by-side trails, some with lake views, others winding through the trees.
If you're thinking about owning a home here, access to trails like these is a major perk. Here are a few of our favorites:
š Hodges Canyon Trail
Located on the west side of Bear Lake near Garden City, this trail is a local favorite. It’s a moderate climb with beautiful wildflowers in the summer and connects to a larger network of trails in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.
š Sink Hollow Trail
Head into Logan Canyon and take the Sinks Road turnoff for a more remote, alpine experience. This route cuts through rolling meadows and forested areas, and in the fall, the colors are unreal. It’s great for riders who want something scenic and not too technical.
š Temple Fork Trail
This one starts deeper into Logan Canyon and follows a historic logging road. It’s a great trail with stream crossings, shaded areas, and a peaceful, less-traveled feel.
š Garden City Canyon Trail
Easily accessible from town, this trail is ideal if you want a quick ride without going too far. It’s steep in some sections but offers fantastic views of Bear Lake and ties into other trails for a longer adventure.
š Curtis Creek Trail (via Franklin Basin)
North of Logan Canyon, this system connects into Idaho and offers miles of off-road exploration. It’s a full-day type of ride with everything from river crossings to ridgelines.
