Back to School Season at Bear Lake

Back to school season is here, and if you’re considering a move to Bear Lake, one of the most important things on your mind might be schools for your kids. Luckily, families on both the Utah and Idaho sides of the lake have plenty of options!
On the Utah side (Rich County School District):
Rich County School District serves Garden City, Laketown, Randolph, and Woodruff. The district includes:
North Rich Elementary in Laketown
South Rick Elementary in Randolph
Rich Middle School in Laketown
Rich High School in Randolph
On the Idaho side (Bear Lake School District):
Bear Lake School District covers Montpelier, Paris, St. Charles, Georgetown, Bloomington, Fish Haven, and more. Schools include:
A.J. Winters Elementary in Montpelier
Paris Elementary in Paris
Georgetown Elementary in Georgetown
Bear Lake Middle School in Montpelier
Bear Lake High School in Montpelier
Because Bear Lake straddles the Utah–Idaho border, where you live determines which district your children will attend. Both offer excellent opportunities, but it might be one more factor to consider when searching for your Bear Lake home!
