Bear Lake Monster Winterfest

Bear Lake Monster Winterfest—the area's biggest annual winter event! 

This family-friendly festival offers a variety of activities for all ages, including:

Monster Plunge: Take a freezing dip into the icy water of Bear Lake. And, do it in your best costume for a chance to win prizes! 

Monster Cisco Disco: Join the early-morning adventure of dip netting for Cisco fish on the east side of Bear Lake, followed by a free breakfast. Enter your biggest catch in the tournament for a chance to win some prizes too!

Cardboard Boat Regatta: Build a boat from cardboard and put it to the test on the water. Creativity and great seaworthiness are key!

Chili Cook-off: Show off your culinary skills or sample some of the best chili around. Judges will determine who has the best chili, with great prizes for winners.

Market & Food Trucks: Who doesn’t love delicious food?!

Most activities take place at the Utah Bear Lake State Park Marina and Cisco Beach. The state parks entrance fee at the Marina will be waived for attendees, with a hope that you’ll donate to The Family Place non-profit, the event's fundraising beneficiary.
