School Is (Almost) Back In Session

It’s about to be August and that means school is almost back in session. But, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the beautiful Bear Lake area for the remainder of summer. Here are some ideas to make the most of it!

If you’re wanting to get out on the water in the next few weeks, head to one of our great rental options around the lake, grab a boat, jet ski, or whatever feels right, and get on out there! Check out my YouTube Channel for a recent video I did with Epic Recreation, one of our Bear Lake rental companies. They have tons of options for you to get out and enjoy the water.

Interested in heading out for a hike? If you never done it, make sure to check out the Limber Pine Trail. It’s a short, family-friendly loop that offers stunning views of the lake and a peaceful forest setting. Ideal for a leisurely afternoon hike. Or, head to the Bear Lake Overlook Trail for breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. This is a moderate trail but a must-visit. If you’re looking for a full-day trip, Tony Grove Lake Trail is a bit further out, but worth the drive. This scenic trail offers wildflower meadows and a beautiful alpine lake.

Driving more your thing? Head down through Logan Canyon and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains and canyon itself. Plus, you can stop in Logan for a bite to eat and maybe some shopping!

No August adventure list at Bear Lake would be complete without mentioning the 40th annual Raspberry Days Festival happening THIS week! Make sure to check out the parades, craft fairs, live music, and, of course, delicious raspberry treats.

Finally, if you’re looking for a relaxing evening out, head to Coopers at Bear Lake West for live music (and great food).
